Beim Versuch, ein Video aufzuzeichnen bzw. mitzuschneiden, bleibt das Videofenster schwarz. Die Aufnahmezeit läuft, aber es wird nichts aufgezeichnet. Egal ob ich das eingebaute oder das externe Preview-Fenster benutze. In Skype funktioniert das Video tadellos. Ich habe die neuesten Versionen der beiden Programme installiert. Weiß jemand Rat?

Hi,

I skype call with about 6 other people on a conference call to play a DnD 4e Role Playing game via a Virtual Table Top app.

I would like to be able to send sound effects, such as Dungeon Doors, Sword Fights etc. I found the "Mega Emotions" player icon. I can make sounds come out of my comp, I have no trouble using skype either. However, I need to be able to "Inject" the sound in the signal I'm sending out as it were, so that all the people listening to me hear not only my voice, but also the sounds effects.

Can anyone help, or know how to do this? Cheers.

(I add my name to the chorus of users looking for a manual; or at least a Wiki so a manual can be created; or more extensive coverage in the FAQ's if that is meant to be the only manual)

How do I schedule a conference call (in Call Scheduler) that calls multiple numbers (without setting up a one-time group in Skype itself first)?

What is meant to be the usefulness / utility of the "AutoConf Group Editor" and its setup (as opposed to just having a Skype group)?

Will Pamela Call Professional be coming out on Linux anytime soon (saw PamFax made it there today)?

There are some flaky, unsupported python scripts (with even less documentation) that support auto conference (Skype_Cast_no_chat, Skype Autoconference). That is, they will answer all incoming calls and add them to the first call as a conference. Is there anything like this in Pamela Call Recorder now or planned? Would like the capability and more robust (announce entrance and exit, let person calling know the line has been answered and they are about to join the conference, passcode to prevent unauthorized users joining).

Pamela version - 4.6.0.50
Skype Version - 4.2.0.152

Installed Skype. Then installed Pamela. When I turn on Pamela, it fires up skype, which is fine. Howver, the status in the lower left of Pamela reads

"Pamela for Skype - Skype available. Connecting..."

Still fails. I'm not sure how to get Pamela into the list on Skype's API access control page.

So, brand new install of skype. Brand new install of Pamela. Win7 64bit. Pamela fails out of the box. Is there a trick? I've read the forums/faq/etc. Clearly I am not the only one experiencing this. Anyone have any ideas?

habe heute pamela für skype entdeckt und es funktioniert super.
ich verwende eig. nur die funktion musik einzuspielen.
Nur wäre es schön wenn man die sounds per keybinds einspielen könnte.
z.B. sound1 = F1 ; sound2 = F2 ,

gibt es eine Möglichkeit dieses zu realisieren?

I have SoundMAX digital audio on the motherboard and I have a Plantronics USB headset, which is what I use.

I assume the audio only goes away when you record the call as Pamela does nothing when you just do a call w/o recording?

I would presume that was the case though Pamela is set to record automatically so I wouldn't know for sure.

Do you have multiple audio devices connected to your computer? I assume the audio only goes away when you record the call as Pamela does nothing when you just do a call w/o recording?

I bougth a Pamela Call Recorder but the code doesn't seem to work: on the toolbar I can see the "Buy unlimited recording" string and there is no "www.pamela.biz" and, worse, recording stops after 15 minutes.
To entering the code I followed the procedure described in pamela's web.

I'm using skype 4.1.0.179 under Vista SP2. PCR version 4.6.0.5.

What I can do?

Hi,

No, unfortunately it is either MP3 (or WMA, WAV, OGG) with audio only or WMV with video and audio. But I am sure there are tools that can separate a WMV file to extract the audio part. Suggest you do an internet search on it.

When I open up "sykpe recordings" I get a list of some of calls recordings to skpye and landlines.
But for some reason Im not getting them all.
When I open the recordings folder they are all there.

i started a conversation and the box came up asking if i wanted to record the conversation. i clicked yes. but when i went to review the video only the first 2 minutes or so were recorded. is there something that i did wrong. there was another box behind my skype video window, but i don't believe it had anything to do with ending the recording, though i don't entirely recall. is there something that window could have been that caused my problem? or might there be some settings that i didn't setup correctly? help as soon as possible would be great

I hadn't used Pamela for over a year. Previously it worked fine: now it doesn't work.

I checked the audio devices in Pamela and Skype and they are identical (plus the check box in Pamela to copy those settings from Skype is ticked).

What can we look at next?

I have downloaded Pamela Professional and installed it on Windows Vista Ultimate. The screen shows that both Pamela and Skype are on line.

Immediately above those notifications are six icons one of which looks like the Skype make a call icon. However, I am unable to make a call from Pamela.

What have I done wrong?

Hi Philip,

That is strange as Pamela does nothing to Skype during a call. You should check the audio devices in the Skype and Pamela options - perhaps there is a mismatch there.

Has this behaviour been always the case or has this recently started to happen?
